Looking for a few more things to stuff your stockings with this holiday season? You’ve come to the right place. Here are six great stocking stuffer ideas to make the whole family happy.
Stocking Stuffer Ideas for Older Kids and Adults
1. Mini Coloring Books.
Alli Koch’s mini coloring books (Coolest Homes Ever and Hey Day) make great stocking stuffers for yourself or older kids or even your husband (if he’s the coloring sort).
Coloring is also great for self-care as it calms your brain and can help you relax.
Combine a coloring book with a portable pack of colored pencils, and you’ll be all set.
2. Planning Supplies.
Stay organized in the New Year with Erin Condren planners and accessories. My LifePlanner helps me keep track of everyone’s schedule and makes sure I don’t forget anything, while staying on top of goals and tasks.
My oldest has also fallen in love with all the planning supplies and is looking forward to using her new LifePlanner next year. I’m sure Santa will be leaving some planning supplies in her stocking this year.

3. Fiction or Nonfiction Books.
Santa always puts a book in our stockings. When the girls were younger, the books were smaller and easier to get in the stockings.
Now, they’re a bit bigger, especially if they’re hardback, and Santa has to get creative. There’s always a way to make it obvious what book each person gets, though.
And, regardless of interests, there’s a book for everyone.
4. Rechargeable Hand Warmers.
If you do things outside in the cold, these are a great way to keep your hands warm. I know, even with gloves on, my hands can get cold.
These are small enough to fit in your pocket easily and are rechargeable.
They come in a variety of colors and would be great for kids and adults. My girls are getting these in their stockings this year.

5. Highlights
Hidden Pictures from Highlights has always been a family favorite. Any of their magazines or special edition sets would make a great stocking stuffer. Just roll them up to fit in the stocking for hours of fun later.
6. Freeze Dried Ice Cream Sandwiches
I admit this one is a little random, but my youngest loves freeze dried ice cream sandwiches. They were a hit last year and will be appearing in the stockings again this year.
Sometimes something from left field is just the thing to delight on Christmas morning.
