I read a lot of children’s books, as I’m sure a lot of other parents with young children do. I don’t think other parents read them the same way I do though. At least not the majority of them. As a writer, I’m constantly analyzing books as I read them to my daughter, to see what works and what doesn’t. Some kid’s books make me wonder why they were published. Others, it’s obvious. One book we recently checked out from the library made me laugh out loud. It’s obvious why it was published. It’s the cutest
